Caribbean All Inclusive Vacations

Another year and more unrest with the aviation industries workforce. It seems that every holiday period either baggage handlers, flight attendants or airport workers decide to take industrial action against their employers over some dispute. Who suffers when they take action by striking, we do the paying public, as usual.

If you travel to the Mediterranean resorts there are a large number of countries you have to fly over of which anyone of the aviation workers of those countries can disrupt your journey if not actually stop your holiday. Even if you decide not to fly and travel by car, we in the UK have the added problem of crossing the English Channel by ferry or Channel tunnel.

If you want a high chance of getting away on your holiday at whatever time of year you plan to go then why not try a Caribbean holiday? If you live in the UK then once you are airborne and leave UK airspace the next country you will probably come across will be the Caribbean Island you are staying on.

There is nothing between the UK and the Caribbean, but the Atlantic Ocean, with the exception of Ireland. If you decide to try a holiday in the Caribbean then you should try an all inclusive holiday and enjoy the culture, people and relaxed atmosphere of the hundreds of islands in the Caribbean.

There are about 7000 island in the Caribbean and only 700 are inhabited. All are surrounded by clear blue warm waters and miles of beaches. Some of the islands are volcanic; some have extraordinary reefs, others beautiful white unspoilt beaches. Most interiors of the islands are tropical jungles where you will find water falls cascading down valleys, and palm trees and exotic flowers surrounding you where ever you go.

Most islands of the Caribbean have resorts that offer all inclusive vacation packages. In fact an all inclusive vacation is recommended by most travel operators as restaurants on the islands can be expensive butfood and drinks bought locally are fairly inexpensive.

Also where ever you are travelling from you will not need to take too much in the way of warm clothing as the weather in the Caribbean is warm all year round. Take light tops and shorts for daytime, swim wear and long slacks for eating out in the restaurants as this is required dress in the evenings.
