Make Better Beats In Fl Studio
I get a lot of emails from producers asking me how i get such quality mixes in fl studio... At 1st i was sending the same reply to everyone but that got too time consuming so i figured an article would be better (Sorry im lazy).
1. Mixing
Creating a distinguished mix Demands Two things: 1. Listen in through high-quality headphones or monitors. 2. Practice Practice makes perfect... Always practice.
We are going to keep it simple (for get the eq and compressors). "but i spoke with the engineer at guitar center and he said,,,,".... I don't care what he said he ain't getting his music played on MTV is? No he's sitting at guitar center hoping to get another sale. Having quality sounds is much more important. You can eliminate eq and compressing with having good sounds and decent levels
Granted your beats won't be perfect but they will sound GOOD! And that's what the goal is. My tracks sound nice right off the Jump as I own a terrific sound palette to choose from. I fancy it this way... With a reduction of effort for me in the closing stages.
If you don't have money for monitors its OK you can still create good tracks. You just have to understand the tools you are using. If you are using some Low quality Computer speakers then I advise you find two CD's that you love.. Study to them on those low quality speakers or headphones until you get familiar to how it pushes sound. This will make your ears use to them.

2. Quality Of Sounds
Fruity Loops Studio Has horrible stock sounds * i don't know what the dev was thinking)... Step up your sound game. Get some quality plug ins... I myself am a Fl Studio expert I also use Reason 5 as a plug in for things like FL... Pro tools, Sonar X1 etc.

Remember a pleasant mix Will make a good instrumental great and make an OK beat Much better.. Expensive tools are not needed. My aim here was to explain how to create better product for your client not fully master your beats. Just using the tips I have provided you'll be able to make better quality beats
Quality enough for big artist and labels to pay for.
