Why Do I have To Backup My Gaming Disks?
Why Do I have To Backup My Gaming Disks?

Wii,Xbox,Xbox 360, PS1,PS2, and so onWorld Of Warcraft, Call Of Duty, and anything Madden. Just some of the buzz words surrounding "The Gaming" industry, and only mildly familiar to me, but I do see them scattered around my house. I mentioned in a previous article http://goo.gl/rHid9 the lack of televisions in my home. That little tirade really only scratched the surface of what I consider the ridiculous amount of electronic entertainment in this place. I will show my age here but when I was younger we weren't allowed to stay in the house and there was really no reason to. Eat breakfast go outside, eat lunch go outside, eat dinner go outside until bedtime. Of course that was summers but winter was pretty much the same except school was involved. Plus we had one television and you watched what mom and dad watched or you found a board game to play. And I guess so it goes with every passing generation more and better entertainment technology.

Don't get me wrong I am no technophobe, I have my computers and I do ok with them, but the whole gaming thing eludes me. Ever since games stopped going in only on direction, circa Nintendo 1 and 2 and the like, I have given up on gaming. They also have controllers with 10 or 15 buttons and you have to hit them in a certain sequence. WHAT? forget about it. So enter 360 games, Playstation, Xbox and then the Playstation 2, and Xbox 360. With the real beauty of these new systems being they won't play the old games, I bet that was no accident. And I won't mention a certain store that will happily trade your games at about a 15:1 ratio, because both of my kids have taken a major piping at this place. I would have to say thousands of dollars have gone the way of the newer better gaming systems, plus games at $50 to $100 a whack.

Both of my boys are old enough to buy their own gaming stuff but.there are birthdays and Christmas, so I still have vested interest. Yet I walk around the house and find a game CD (or DVD who can tell the difference) laying in the floor usually face up! Pisses me off to say the least because I may not know how to play the games but I know how much they cost. And it doesn't make one bit of difference to me who paid for the game it's wasting money and I hate that!!! I ran across a site that is showing some options for making copies of these expensive little Frisbees. The site

http://wereviewit4you.com/ are these any good, don't know but I intend to find out and I am not going to pay for it. One of my Mini Donald Trumps who has more money than sense can pick up a copy before I must hurt them.
