Let's identify why the majority of traditional business models don't work. I know that a lot of you have been flogging away, working tirelessly. In fact, some of you are probably banging your head against a brick wall trying to build your business.

My guess is that your business consumes a lot more of your time then what you had expected and that you're now working longer hours than a regular nine-to-five job. I'm sure some of you are even spending time on the weekends tied to your business.

It could be that your income is limited by the time you devote to your face-to-face clients as you trade your time for dollars. There are only 24 hours in each day and do you really want to spend every one of those hours working with clients?

And how about the fact that every time you wanted to take time off or go on a holiday or you get sick or you want to do something with your kids, your income just stops? In other words, when you don't work you don't get paid. It's this traditional business model that keeps business owners continually going around and around on what I call the "chicken rotisserie."

It's this chicken rotisserie that overwhelms you, fuels the frustration, fatigue, and anxiety. It wipes out your motivation to keep going. It's often for this reason that such a large proportion of small businesses fail within the first three years.

What if there was a different model for your business? What if you could do the work once and get paid over and over? A model by which you gain prestige and recognition and one that would differentiate you from your competitors.

A model that will attract your ideal clients so you don't have to chase them yourself. What if this business model will also have you making money even while you're on a holiday, sick or while you're asleep?

You may think that it's a bit farfetched, but let me assure you that it is possible. It's possible when you create information products.

You don't have to be an expert to get started in this and you don't even have to be a writer. You don't need to be a big business owner with a lot of employees. You can actually build this business right from your home office.

Creating and selling your own info products is easy. It does require work initially. Anything that's worthwhile requires effort.

Who wants information and why do they want it? The answer is people of all ages, genders, and nationalities. In fact, people from all walks of life search both offline and on the internet for information. They want information that will help them earn more money, save time, improve their health and relationships, or better their lifestyle.

There are really two main reasons why people search for information, whether it's online or offline:

To avoid pain

To increase pleasure

Let me tell you that information products, especially quality information products, are in huge demand right now. We're in an information age and people continually want to learn. They want to know how to do things themselves, and they're always searching for new information.

Right now people are willing to pay good money for the information they want. When the content is right, info products satisfy their hunger immediately. It's time that you discovered how you can share your knowledge with others and how information products can change your business.
