Who can deny the fact that Sony's PS3 is so popular? It brought gamers to a different level of entertainment. It became a household item and almost every home has it.
Of course, I don't want my son to be the last to know about its existence. I bought him a PS3 and I gave it to him as a birthday present last two months ago. After a few days, I would notice that he easily gets tired of a game and would keep on asking me to buy him new games for his PS3. Since I love burning songs on CDs, I thought, maybe I could also burn games. What I did is I bought several blank CDs, borrowed my nephew's games and started burning them. My first and second attempts weren't successful. I was able to burn a game but it can't be played on my son's PS3. I found out that aside from the CD burner that I have, I would also need to download a game copying software. Without this software, I won't be able to copy the boot sequence, which is quite important for the backup to be played. I followed the step by step procedure and after a few minutes, I was able to successfully burn a game. After that, I repeated the process with the other blank CDs. I was hooked and started to build up my library and had tons of new games to toy with.
Nothing beats the happiness I felt to see how happy my son is. He can play backed up PS3 games and he can have all the games that he wants. I don't have to hurt my budget just to give him something new to play. And the fact that it does not effect my current warranty really gives me a great piece of mind knowing that my device is still covered.
