Cash For Clunkers Or Klunkers For Cash

With a couple of years that have went by since the first and so far the last cash for clunkers program. This was a great idea that helped and made a lot of the dealerships, auto makers and individuals very happy. The dealerships were happy because they got to sell more vehicles, auto makers were happy because they keep more vehicles in production and the buyer were happy on a couple of levels. They were able to get rid of a vehicle that might have just been taking up space. At the dealerships more buyers were receiving incentives for participating in the program.

Although the government cash for clunkers program is expired cash--for--clunkers.com still maintains a list of cars that qualify as clunkers by the US government. If you're doing research on the program this is a great place to start by looking at the easy to use cash for clunkers list.

Well the question is still being asked when will the program be coming back for the consumers that were not able to get vehicle a couple of years ago due to at that time having a current running vehicle. There are dealers across the United States that are still accepting klunkers for cash. But you may want to check into your local dealerships to see who is offering cash for your clunkers.

If you just can not figure out what to do with the vehicle that is just sitting in your garage, alley or just in front of your home you should really consider getting some type of tax write off. For the vehicles that are just an eye sore or that you can not get to run. If that doesn't work for you because you waited too long for this years tax deadline you can always look into donation of a clunker. I am sure there are local churches or foundations that take vehicles in that are not running.

When looking to get rid of the vehicles that are just taking up space you might not want to just wait until the program of cash for clunkers come back. I recommend doing what you can to either donate the vehicle or check with you local dealerships to see if there is something that can be done. If you feel you will be waiting on the program to return, then stay tuned to cash--for--clunkers.com for any updates.
