Mitsubishi's compact crossover, the ASX, was released last year and now less than a year on it has been awarded with 5 stars in the Euro NCAP crash test results. Mitsubishi is very proud of this achievement as the ASX contains a lot safety and technological advancements for the Japanese car manufacturer. The Mitsubishi ASX scored highly in Adult occupant safety achieving 86%, child occupant safety was slightly lower at 78%, the pedestrian safety score was an impressive 60% and accident prevention systems achieved 71%.
