MAKALIA FALLS
Makalia Falls is situated behind a rise, and as you drive there and back you have a wide view of the eastern side of the valley. This site has an existing campsite that is popular with tourists and overlanders. It is a beautiful campsite with latrines, well water and even a shower. It is the only easily accessible waterfalls in the region and inside Lake Nakuru National Park. The area is accessible throughout the year by all categories of vehicles. The surrounding vegetation is composed of Acacia xanthlophloea (the yellow fever tree) and next to the Naishi grasslands with a wide variety of wildlife species. The waterfalls rock outcrop is an important sleeping site for baboon, and a good site for bird watching.
CHANIA FALLS
Chania falls is a waterfall(s)in central Kenya. They offer a scenic beauty within a well developed area, especially during the rainy season. The Chania river is very important place in the politics of the republic of Kenya, the waters are said to posses blessing of leadership.
THOMSONS FALLS
Thompson's Falls is a 74m(243FT)Scenic waterfall at the Ewaso Narok River, which drains from the Aberdare Mountain Range. It is situated near the town Nyahururu in Central at 2,260m(7.750ft)Joseph Thompson was the first European to reach Thompson falls, a Scottish geologist and naturalist who was also the first European to walk from Mombasa to lake Victoria in the Early 1880's
There were many beautiful things to see like trees, streams, giraffes, monkeys and many other animals but I didn't want to concentrate on anything else but the Thompson Falls. When the tour guide brought me there... Oh my God! The Thompson Falls are the most beautiful falls I've ever come across in Kenya. I don't want to tell you in details how good it is - you would lose taste. If you have never been there, go there and be my witness.
