3D baby hands & feet casts and plaster outprints are very popular keepsakes & gifts in the new baby market. Learn from Creative Casting who have 8 years experience in the life casting world by attending one of their training courses this spring.
The courses last for half days or whole days, depending on what area you want to cover & include all the materials you need to get a basic grasp of how to create these unique gifts. There is often a baby on hand to give you a real taste of how it's done!
There are currently 2 courses available, one focussing purely on the stone plaster outprint/footprint impressions style keepsake & the other covering the more complex art of creating the fully 3D lifecasts of hands & feet.
From attending the 3d casting training course you will take away with you:
Full set of course notes with support available by phone after the training for 1 month.
Over 40 worth of materials including moulding & casting powders, mixing equipment, paint & a box frame so you can make up your first sample.
All baby casts you have created during the day's training from our baby model.
All classes are limited to a maximum of 3 trainees on Saturdays & 2 on weekdays to allow everyone chance to take moulds from our baby model & also to allow plenty of time for 1-to-1 questions. The course runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, 9.30am to 2.30pm on weekdays & lunch is included. This is a 'hands-on' day run in an active workshop environment - an apron is recommended!

The courses are taught with you setting up your own business in mind & there is ongoing discussion of this along with marketing techniques, up sell opportunites & client management skills throughout the sessions.
