This Mountain stands at around 5,199 Meters high and is the perfect place to visit for any budding mountain climbers or hikers out there. The summit can usually be reached within 3-5 days depending on which route is being taken. The view from the top of the mountain is truly remarkable, but there is also lots to see while on the ascend, as you make your way through the 5 different ecosystems which line the mountain
For those with a keen interest in aquatic activities, a trip to Lake Victoria may be in order! It is the largest fresh water lake in the world, and whilst there you can participate in activities such as boat trips, fishing with local fishermen and water bound safaris. On the latter, you will find yourself face to face with many different birds and animals that inhabit the lake and its surrounding area, this really is a special sight to see great wildlife in its unspoiled, natural habitat.
Another lake which interests people for a different reason is Lake Nakuru. This rift valley lake is renowned for its beauty and high densities of bird life. The most spectacular bird sight to witness in Lake Nakuru is the huge population of over 1.5 million flamingo that line the shores of the lake and feast upon the algae that grows there. Many people who visit the lake are astounded by how many flamingo there actually are, and get the impression that they are seeing pink water!
