My Personal Review OnLevana ClearVu Digital Video Baby Monitor with Color Changing Night Light (LV-TW301)
Simple and effective Functionality:
This device is very easy to use. You can control brightness and volume of the monitor unit. The picture is excellent and clear. The sound is surprisingly good, and it becomes quite strong. I think this is great for parents who want to be aware of what is happening, and you really can hear everything.
You can add more cameras (up to a total of 4) and wall mounting hardware was perfect for observing the upper corner of a room. Seeing my 2 year old, Penelope, playing or sleeping is almost as fun to the screen and in person.
See at night is very strong, with a variety of infrared lamps very suitable for sharp video in very dark rooms. Please note that this camera conflict with the Wii-motes. I had to move mine to a different corner.
The night light function is really cool. You can turn off, but I think that is charming. Another thing is that you can set the camera to send video if you hear the sound. The monitor has its own charging base that hopefully produces a very dim green light when it is loaded (we do not like bright LED in our bedroom ... it does not bother us at all.)
Build Quality:
Very high, IMO. The receiver is solid, your charger is very well lite at night the camera is nice. Everything has a lasting effect.
Value:
This seems expensive for me, but I've never bought a comparable product. It is well built, easy to handle, and makes a good and reliable. I looked around and not see anything that represents a better value for what this product can do.
So congratulations on the child's family or family friend, and if you want a monitor, I recommend this.
