Nutrients
Certain nutrients have been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of allergies. Often, the intake of vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid brings great relief to the patient.
This vitamin can be taken at a dose of 100 mg per day for a month. In such cases, liberal amounts of pantothenic acid help even though the recovery takes several weeks. A dose of 400 mg of vitamin E taken daily for four to six weeks is also beneficial as this vitamin possesses effective anti-allergic properties.
Castor oil
It was found that five drops of castor oil in half a cup of fruit or vegetable juice or plain water, and taken on an empty stomach in the morning, is beneficial for allergies of the intestinal tract, skin and nasal passages.
Lime
Lime is considered an effective remedy for any type of allergy. Half a lemon can be squeezed into a glass of warm water and sweetened with a teaspoon of honey. It can be taken once daily in the morning for several months. This remedy not only cleans your system of toxins, but also acts as anti-toxic and allergic ants. However, those who are allergic to citrus fruits should not resort to this remedy.
Banana
One or two bananas a day is helpful for those who are allergic to certain foods and therefore suffer from rashes, digestive disorders or asthma, fruit, however, cause allergic reactions in some sensitive people should avoid .
Skullcap
Skullcap is an effective natural remedy for allergies and helps the effects of stress. It also helps with sleep, improves circulation and strengthens the heart muscle.
Turmeric
Turmeric has antibiotic and anti-inflammatory to help relief pressure and nasal congestion. Also known to fight free radicals, protect the liver against toxins and inhibit platelet aggregation and helps circulation.
Elecampane
Elecampane is excellent for respiratory problems and a great tonic for the lungs. European herbalists call this their primary lung tonic.
Fenugreek
Fenugreek is known by inflammation and an excellent tonic for upper respiratory tract.
Nettle
Nettle aids allergic disorders, acts as an analgesic, expectorant and tonic. Good for hay fever and conditions of the mucous membranes.
Chamomile
Chamomile herbs have been known sedative and relaxing properties. It is used in skin and hair care for cleaning and soothing benefits. Good for sensitive and irritated skin. Good also for scalp irritations.
Echinacea purpurea
Considered to regulate and soothe the skin and improve immunity. The use of ointments, creams, toners and compresses for wounds, skin regeneration, skin infections, and inflammatory skin conditions.
Neem (Azadirachta indica): One of the bloods purifying and detoxifying most powerful in the use of Ayurveda, Neem is often used to maintain healthy skin. There is plenty of scientific support to the immune enhancing properties of Neem as a reinforcement of the effectiveness of macrophages.
