MLM Prospecting-Questions Are The Answers

Questions Are The Answers.

In the earliest days in the progress of most new Network Marketers one of the important obstacles to overcome is excitement and enthusiasm.

Now this may seem strange, but there is logic here, as the questions really are the answers to most situations addressed in the Mlm industry.

When we are young, the prospects in life appear endless, the houses we will reside in, the vehicles we will drive, the places we will venture and we set out on the journey brimming with hope, ambition and a can- do mindset.

Still in the common drudgery of life, jobs, marriage, children, social responsibilities etc, somewhere along the line the dreams fade get buried and slowly vanish into the dim and distant soul of our memory.

Now along comes Network Marketing, and for the truthful disciple, the dynamics and financial rewards afforded by the Industry can re-ignite the light of hope and a burn can grow deep in the pit of the stomach.

Because we are brimming with this new found fervor, it appear only logical to bestow this perception with those nearest and dearest, and rather than qualify the prospect to see if they are even in the the market for an opportunity, we can charge in blurt out our new enterprise and then scratch our heads in wonder that no one else appears to share our understanding.

Dangerous time.

Stats signal 85%+ of new MLM distributors abandon the profession in advance of getting 5 no's.

The dreams are dashed, put back into the box and rather than posing like "grown -ups" they re-join the huddle of "Given-Ups.

Though, it really doesn't have to be that way.

Certainly we all "fail our way to success" but it makes a lot more sense to do it the clever way.

And what is this?

One of the renowned books on MLM Achievement is "Questions Are The Answers" by Allan Pease.

When all the fluff, hype and poppycock is removed, MLM is a business; a tool, a mechanism to encourage us achieve the things in life we long for and the certainty that the only way we can win is by helping other's obtain is an remarkable benefit, however it is a business.

What is so outstanding about Pease's textbook is in the title. If we can but learn to listen, people will tell us exactly the reason why they need this business and it is generally the obstacle why, in their own eyes, they won't join: time, money, too busy, etc etc etc.

Nevertheless, rather than just ramming our enthusiasm down their throats, we need to comprehend that if we can assume the responsibility of assisting people unearth their need and present our venture as a resolution to their need, then it is pretty much over ... the rest is just technique.

Naturally this may appear to only address the "OLD" school long-established approach, and undoubtedly there are new ways of prospecting using Attraction Marketing and Technology, but the bottom line is that people are people, and the MLM Industry is founded on developing relationships.

To be a success, we have got to take our eyes off ourselves and assist other's attain their dreams, goals and ambitions.

Our function is really to help individuals dig down through the recesses to those buried dreams, bring them to the surface, dust them off and then assist them believe in themselves to the point where they also can taste the sweet in choices in life.

Be aware , he who asks the questions controls the conversation.
