I hate decorating, I have managed to avoid it till now, my sister bought a new house and we all have to help her. She lost her husband recently in a car accident, so to help her move on in life she sold their house and bought a house which is closer to ours.
I only agreed to help out because of her 3 year old daughter, I can't bear to see her upset, she already lost her dad and I don't want her to feel sad anymore than she already does. When she asked me to help her decorate her room, I just couldn't say no, her eyes lit up when I said I will help her.
As well as a new house, my sister also got a new car, a really nice new Skoda in Sussex. The car was a gift from my parents to my sister, as she couldn't gather enough money after buying the house so we all decided to buy it for her and I can confirm that every penny spent on it was definitely worth it.
Before we start working on the house, we will all be doing a lot of shopping, which is my favourite part. I love shopping, especially with my sister, but my mum hates going with us. I really hope once we finish with the house, it's exactly the way my sister imagined it as I always want to see her and my niece happy.
