Since 1971, Al Corbi, President and Founder of SAFE (Strategically Armored and Fortified Environments) has been designing home security systems for some of the world's most powerful people and organizations. He was the first professional to design home security systems, as well as security systems for yachts, that isolated clients while the breach in security was documented, and subsequently managing the threat. A mere four years later, he was hired by the U.S. government to design secure, secret installations for the Department of Justice, as well as for other U.S. agencies. Governments all over the world were quick to follow, and today, Corbi's company SAFE is recognized as the leader in high-tech security solutions.
SAFE's approach is to design and create home security systems that protect its clients in all levels of potential vulnerability. The threats from which it protects its clients include not only physical threats from intruders such as burglars and other criminals, but also nuclear, biological, and natural disasters. One of SAFE's inventions is the Safe Core impenetrable areas within a building or yacht that are seamlessly embedded into their architectures and allow clients to survive, isolated from any threat, but still as much as possible in control of their property. These areas are made impenetrable by using fortified walls, floors, ceilings, doors and windows. To cover all other layers of potential vulnerability, SAFE's home security systems provide state-of-the-art surveillance, detection, and deterrence devices. In more recent years, SAFE has started adding so-called NBC Shelters (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Shelters), which are increasingly in demand as clients seek protection from airborne viruses, potential nuclear warfare, and terrorist attacks.
Al Corbi himself often takes on the role of Chief Creative Officer when designing a custom-made home security system for a client. Using all possible worst-case scenarios as his starting point, he next oversees the employment of SAFE's layer methodology to create effective and often innovative solutions. This methodology is comprised of four major components: hardening; NBC Complex (including everything necessary to survive in isolation for long periods of time, such as shelter, generator, communications, and provisions); medical assistance (which includes on-site medical equipment, communication to a remote medical provider, and emergency evacuation); and event management.
No client's identity is ever revealed, and SAFE promises an uncompromising dedication to protection. Unsurprisingly, in almost 40 years of designing highly specialized home security systems, not a single one of the company's clients has ever been harmed while in an environment created by SAFE.
