I think, therefore, I am! If a chair does not think then it does not exist!

I think, therefore, I am! If a chair does not think then it does not exist!

What is meaning? Is it the sense things give to us or are we the ones who give sense to things? This question leads to another, more profound and more interesting. Namely, do things exist without us or do we give existence things? Ho do you know that you exist? Is it enough that you see yourself in the mirror that makes you exist? Is it sufficient for us to pinch ourselves to realize we exist?

In other words, do senses give us a feeling of being? Descartes claimed that we think and therefore we exist! Very odd for those who do not think cannot exist! If animals do not think, then according to the French genius, they do not exist. Worst still ,if plants do not think then they do not exist. We can drive the argument further into absolute absurdity, just like the Frenchman in his wisdom, if a shit does not think then it does not exist. No pejorative slimily is attempted here.

But, a small particle of dust should it be unable to think then, according to the Frenchman, it must not exist.

No one until now can tell what thinking is. No scientist or a neurologist can ever tell you what really thinking is. Unless you know and can tell us! Is thinking the result of 120 billions of neurons, or millions for the morons and scientists, in your head are in unison electro-chemical and physical, organic and anatomical, psychological and mental, spiritual and what have you? These, coming together by a miracle, constitute your brain structure and function, shape and form, allow you to be? If you stop thinking then does this mean you do not exist? Utter bullshit, usual for Frenchmen.

Then and again, what is the relationship between thought and meaning? If at all? If we do not think, for one reason or another, does this bereft our meaning?

If we look into the universe and think, is it us that give the universe meaning, or is rather the universe that does it?

Questions, without answers, remain in the air and in our heads.

In search for meaning means that we impose a state of meaning on objects. We do not derive it from it. However, if objects have meaning that we are supposed to extract, by our genius as bipeds, then we live on a mine of information. Such information, named knowledge for adults, must yield, therefore, a meaning for the meaning.

Unless you are fed up with empty philosophical questions and likewise, empty answers, you might ty fro yourself to make out a meaning for your existence.

This can be both the purpose and the origin of your own being. But, if and only if, things remain as mysteriously enigmatic as they really are, then you have no access to any proper knowledge and you remain marginal in thought and in being!
