One of my favorite gold earning techniques in World of Warcraft is Frostweave Cloth Farming. This material is used for leveling up First Aid and Tailoring professions especially Frostweave. What I like the most is that cloth sells very well in auction house. This is because almost every player levels up his secondary first aid profession.
I travelled across Northrend to find the best spots to farm. Of course all of the humanoid and undead mobs in Northrend drop Frostweave, but I tried to find a place that has high density od mobs to kill and a good drop rate. I also wanted that the respawn rate of the mobs is high, so you don't need to wait a lot to continue farming. Now let me show you the best ones I found:
Frostweave Cloth farming places:
First Frostweave Cloth farming place I like a lot is in Icecrown. There are a lot of undeads in the area around Ymirheim. Especially in the North West. Why I like this place for Frosweave Farming is that the mobs just keep coming. So you don't need to move around a lot. Also their respawn rate is great. From my experience the drop rate is somewhere around 50% which is awesome.
The next one is in Sholazar Basin. There are tons of undeads around the Lost Lands. If you look on the map it is a brown area in the eastern part of Sholazar Basin. There are really lots of mobs. The drop rate is somewhere similar to the one in Icecrown, so it is up to you where to go.
I personally prefer the Icecrown. It's because the mobs are a bit higher level, so you get also many green items (possibly even blue) to disenchant. Don't forget to empty your bags before you go Frostweave Cloth Farming, because you loot also many trash items. And believe me, they are worth to sell.
Anyway, Frostweave Cloth farming may be one of the means to earn gold in World of Warcraft. But after I got a copy of Gold Secrets, I found out all the other MUCH more profitable ways to get tons of gold easily. You just need to know all the tricks. I warmly recommend it to you
