Unreliable Cars

For car buffs, you need something that is brilliant; well designed and packed full of interesting features. Run of the mill cars just don't do it for them and they crave the speed and agility of a custom car. But if you need to use this car on a daily basis you need something that you can rely on, something that you know will start in the morning when you are late for work and not break down on the motorway. You need a car that doesn't need to be in second gear to start, and that copes in any weather condition. If this is the case then try to avoid any of the cars below!

The Delorean DMC-12 is the best example of this. Made famous by the Back to The Future films, the Delorean had doors that opened from the roof and was set to be the car of the future. Unfortunately, the doors didn't work properly, not to mention the bad built quality and terrible handling. The car is now a classic as it was only in production for twelve months before getting scrapped, and they are very hard to come by, and therefore all the rage with celebrity enthusiasts.

The Hillman Imp was a car that was supposed to rival the mini, but it leaked water when it rained and owners found that their cars spent more time in the garage than on the roads. This meant that the Mini held onto its much loved status and the Imp faded into the background.

The Maserati Biturbo was supposed to be Maserati's comeback car to propel them back into the forefront of the car industry. The problem was that the electrics rarely worked and the interior trim amongst a whole host of other issues, put buyers off. So the car that was supposed to revolutionise the industry fell on its face and faded into oblivion.

If you are driving a car on the roads in the UK then ensure that you have Car Insurance as this is a legal requirement in this country, shop online for the best deals and use comparison tools to save you further money.
