Satellite TV providers offer wonderful opportunities to subscribers to enjoy great programming at home. They offer some of the best satellite TV deals so that consumers have the best TV watching experience. But who thought that these offers and promotions' are just offered and will be never honored? Yes, once you sign up with the provider, they will either take longer processing time or will pull out different reasons for not honoring the same. In the procedure, consumers are the ultimate losers and sufferers.

DirecTV, a leading American satellite TV provider is known worldwide for not just is exclusive packages but for its malpractices as well. The company has created ripples among people in the US for varied reasons, negative though. No doubt, it has brought numerous packages and best deals of subscribers, but in offering the same, it follows goof ups. It has resorted to countless unethical practices, which hs deceived thousand of subscribers all over the United States.

Similar situation arose with one of the customers in America. He was offered a welcome back promotional offer with amazing rebate and offers by DirecTV, which he readily accepted, hardly knowing what can be the future circumstances! In order to enjoy rebates provided as a welcome back offer, the consumer broke the contract of other satellite TV provider, which he was enrolled in. As a result, he had to bear the cancellation charges and termination fee. He was willing to pay all of these only with a hope to receive rebate from DirecTV.

Therefore, he eagerly submitted the rebate form after receiving DirecTV set up. After some days, he called up the company to enquire the status; he was explained that it takes around 8-12 weeks for the entire process to be complete. So, he waited and in the meantime, he actually forgot about it. After the lapse of couple of weeks, he again called up DirecTV. At this he was shocked to hear that that his rebate form was never received!!

He was even told that a supervisor will find out reasons to this problem. But nothing was done in his support. Then again, after calling up several times, he was informed that nothing could be done for him, which utterly annoyed the consumer. He was even willing to re-submit the rebate form along with the confirmation copy that he received from DirecTV over the mail. But finally nothing helped.

What was more upsetting for him was that he was enrolled into a 2-year program, which was not known to him. Now the consumer feels that he was swindled into signing up with DirecTV. Apparently, there is now out for him, only to resort to the program even without a welcome rebate! The subscriber is of the view that had he known the true nature of this satellite TV giant, then he would have never switched to DirecTV. Instead, he would have remained with the previous provider.
