The political scene is in a mess these days.We have all these politicians on TV and on the radio presenting all these questions and how much good they are doing for us while seemingly having few if any real answers to the pressing questions of our time. But you know what; they rarely ever give any real answers to the questions they present.It reminds me of when I was in about the third grade. My teacher would say to me, "If you wanted to know how to spell that word, go look it up". Well you know I'm not in the third grade any longer. Now, I may not be the smartest cookie in the drawer, I meant cookie in the jar or sharpest knife in the drawer, but I don't want to be treated like a complete idiot either.
If we don't start addressing our questions with some real answers, we're going to wind up not being able to help anyone including ourselves. You, I or anyone else cannot help others if we can't help ourselves. We are the most charitable nation on the face of the earth.We give away more food, clothing, shelter and money as a nation to those that are in need without expectation of anything in return. Now that's well and good, but it is not possible to keep doing it until our country self-implodes and we become a nation contrary to what we've been for the last 200 years.
We are in turbulent white-water-rapids these days. Some of the pressing problems that we have today include economic stability with jobs for everyone that wants one, healthcare, taxes, immigration and term limits for people in Congress and other public servants. It's time that we stop and take a look at what is happening to us and come up with some real answers that will secure our future. If we work together we can do just that! By the way, we are not the only nation in this mess. Our nation has plenty of good, intelligent minds there are more than willing to contribute. We are a hardworking, productive people once we set our mindsto accomplishing the goals. Our goal for this blog is to reach out to other people of America and around the globe to come up with real answers for hard questions that face us each and every day of our lives. So come join us, participate with us; hand-in-hand working together we will make a difference in this world while successfully navigating the rapids.
In the next blog we will start out by looking at economic stability; how we got to this place and how we're going to get out of this mess. Get your hiking boots on, lace them up; oh, forget that, instead let your fingers do the walking on the keyboard, your mind do the talking and let's come up with some real answers that we can share with each other and the world around us.
