A few nights on board the Coral Princess cruise ship they entertained Singing competition and the winners from each night's contest were invited back to compete in the Princess Pop Star competition.
The wonderful cruise was a 16 day cruise which left San Pedro California, visiting Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Huatulco Mexico, Puntarenas Costa Rica, Panama City Panama, Panama Canal, Oranjestad Aruba and Cartagena Colombia then arriving in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Overall the cruise was an incredible experience with lots of excitement and good times. Singing contest are one of the popular activates onboard the cruise ship and a fun way to take it easy, boogie down, have a couple drinks or just enjoy yourself grooving to the music.
They played a fascinating blend of the music during the karaoke competition. We had a variety of sounds ranging from good old Frankie Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) to rhythm and blues Diva Mary J Blige.
The magnificent D Sterlin was one of the competitors earning her way into the Princess Pop Star competition by winning a karaoke challenge during the start of our cruise. D has a singing background with the Tampa Bay's Children Choir so good music and singing she has always been very enthusiastic about since a child.
The Princess Pop Star karaoke contest competition was incredible. Every competitor had their own special talents. As shown in the video on my blog all the competitors were excellent and all winners in my eyes.
The woman who sings Tina Turner wins and you must check out the video to see her shaking her body, you'll be entertained to say the least. The stunning D Sterlin sings a song called "Count On Me" by Whitney Houston and Cece Winans.
After D's emotional performance the judges decided to really give it to her, criticizing every key element of her performance. There were 3 judges who all had their own professional music backgrounds and bits of advice to share. In the video you will notice her wearing a beautiful yellow dress we picked up in Acapulco, Mexico.
The Princess Pop Star karaoke contest was an spine-tingling experience I will never forget. D Sterlin sings like an angel and continues to touch my heart.
