The other day while getting into the car, I spotted a penny in the dirt. I quickly picked it up while saying the following mantra three times. "I am joyfully abundant, ...." The next thing I knew I spotted another penny. My mind immediately thought where there are two there might be more. Sure enough I spotted another two. As I got into the car I wrapped them in a Kleenex and put them in my pocket. Finding a penny is pretty common. But, finding four at once, seemed like a message from the Universe that I was on the right track. You see I have been working on my blocks to abundance.
This made me wonder how many people pass up pennies on the ground on a daily basis. Is it that they do not care, or is it that they do not notice? Perhaps they don't need them?
For me it is not about the need, but more aboutnoticing where there is abundance around us every day. When we notice the little things in our lives that represent abundance, this tells the Universe that we are ready for the bigger things. For example I am grateful everyday for a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, friends, and family, and an income to support our needs. The lesson here is; if we cannot be grateful for what we have now, then how can we expect to attract more of what we want or need into our lives.
How many times throughout the day do you find yourself saying, or thinking that you do not have enough of something? The most common 'NOT ENOUGH,' most people focus on is time. This is most likely followed by money, and so on, and so on. If you find yourself thinking throughout the day about a lot of 'NOT ENOUGHS,' then theuniverse has no choice but to send any excess to someone else who is grateful for what they have.
So the next time you spot a coin on the ground what are you going to do?
Bob Proctor from the secret uses this phrase, "I am so happy and grateful now that.........." you fill in the blank. Use this phrase to help you get into the "Attitude of Gratitude. Carolyn Myss.
