New Design Porsche

The Porsche is synonymous with prestige; a car that has a large price tag and is adore by footballers and celebrities across the country. It has connotations with wealth and status and the cars are often seen whizzing up and down the motorways in the UK. The first generation of the new vehicle was put into production in the late nineties, and was the first vehicle to be produced by the company since the launch of their Spyder. Produced in the Porsche facility in Stuttgart, Germany, the cars are inspired by the Carrera GT.

So this year, the original design had been given a facelift, although critics are left wondering why you would change the formula of a car that is so loved across the world. The canvas roof has been redesigned and the panels have been given a revamp to produce something that Porsche feel will place them as a predominant player in the car market for the future.

The company are looking to use much lighter materials and have the vehicle a lot lower to the ground, and teemed with the improved handling, this is a move from the firm to make their vehicles a lot more eco friendly, in line with calls from the EU and changes to formula ones strategy, to make the world a greener place.

The car is set to have its first peep at the Geneva motor show at the end of February, but will not be able to purchase for the general public until later on in the year. Critics are still concerned, with the old adage "if it aint broke, don't fix it!" being echoed around the nations, but wait with baited breath to see the lighter and brighter version of the much loved vehicle.
