Kida: Playing the female lead's voice is Cree Summer. She is the beautiful Princess Kida of Atlantis. She is thousands of years old but her youthful appearance manages to charm the audience and leave them spellbound. Kida works in the interest of the general population of Atlantis and risks her life with Milo as the battle ensues to save the city from destruction.
Commander Rourke: James Garner's stern voice is used to power the character of Commander Rourke. Initially he is shown as a positive character who works hard and plays a pivotal role in overcoming the obstacles that come the team's way while reaching Atlantis: The Lost Empire. However, when he discovers the wealth and power that the ancient secrets of Atlantis have, he decides to overcome them by force and, in the process, even abducts Princess Kida after giving a lethal punch to her father, the king of Atlantis. This turning point in the series of events brings the audiences to the edge of their seats as the story unfolds further.
