Atlantis: Milo's Return

Atlantis: Milo's Return is a 2003 animated adventure movie directed by Victor Cook and Toby Shelton for Disney. While most sequels fail to impress, this movie goes beyond its promise of mystic thrills. The courageous team of explorers, Milo Thatch and company, along with Mr. Whitmore, team up after Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Their aim is to make the world a peaceful place by destroying the monsters causing havoc on earth. This is a tale that speaks of courage, wit and the importance of doing the right thing in the face of adversities. With flowing direct-to-video animation and a plot woven to excite, Atlantis: Milo's Return is a must watch.

For those who have not seen the animated masterpiece Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Milo Thatch is a principled man and a student of Atlantean culture. Having studied and translated Altantean scripts, he helps save the lost underwater city of Atlantis. He helps Kida, the princess of Atlantis to locate a grand blue crystal called the "Heart of Atlantis". The 8,000 year old and still beautiful princess marries Milo and the other explorers return to the surface. These explorers and Mr. Whitmore return in this sequel to inform the people of Atlantis that an evil creature, the Kraken, was causing trouble above the surface. There is more news of vicious coyote spirits and one of Whitmore's competitors trying to bring doom to the planet. Will Milo, Kida and the Heart of Atlantis be able to rescue the world from these monsters? Will Kida find the Spear of Destiny? Will Milo and Kida decide to share the power of the crystal with mankind? Will Atlantis ever appear on the surface? Will the life-force of residents of Atlantis be restored? All these questions and more answered in the Atlantis: Milo's Return DVD.

Disney has put in several exhilarating features in the Atlantis: Milo's Return DVD. The first among them is a game named "Search for the Spear of Destiny" in which your kids save Atlantis by putting their grey cells to use by matching the lost artifacts to the city and recovering the Spear of Destiny. Apart from deleted scenes, there is another consolation for kids who do not like the way the movie ends: an alternative conclusion to the movie. The sound is perfect with support for Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and DTS 5.1 Digital Surround Sound capable hardware. The DVD is fully loaded with games, interactive menus, wide-angle view and English, French, and Spanish audio channels.
