Before starting my article I will like to say a few words about health.

We all know this, but we don't do it. Exercising. We know exercising every day for an hour will keep us young and fresh. Yet, we do not find time to allot time for our body. Here are five simple tips that will keep you stay fit and young.

1. Start Small: Do not plan to exercise for every 2 hours a day for the next 30 days. Trust me, it won't work. Instead, devote 15 minutes of your morning time for a walk around your neighbourhood. But, do it consistently for 7 days.
You will start enjoying this new-found morning ritual and will not stop with a 15-minute limit. You would continue this wonderful habit.
2. Do Small things first: Do not join a gym or a health club. Instead, ask one of your friend or a partner to keep a record of how consistently you are doing the exercise without a day's break. Never worry about what you are doing. Walk, jog, dance or even jump.
Build up your pace slowly to increase the intensity of breathing. Let your body temperature gradually increase.
3. Eat Small: Eat in small quantities and at regular intervals. Break your meals into six instead of the usual 3 times-a-day. What will happen is this - you will not overly feel hungry.
Drink plenty of water to fill the rest of your stomach. Exercising makes you thirsty.
4. Speak to Self: While exercising, feel grateful for the wonderful body that you have. Thank God that you are alive and healthy. Speak positive things to encourage about yourself. Look in the mirror and say you look more beautiful today.
5. Do it Daily: Rain or Shine, Cold or Heat, never even think about taking a break for a day. Going for a trip? Can't find a open space? Do some physical activity inside the home to make you sweat. if you take a break, the break will expand into days, weeks and months.
That's all. Ask anyone who exercises daily. It feels good to do it. I'm loving it.
