The playful spirit of Thomas claimed his mother was responsible, for opening the bathroom door in room seven repeatedly on request from our inquisitive ghost hunters, and Thomas the ghostly child also stated (through glass divination) that it was in fact his mother that was the culprit making the loud and disruptive banging in the bathroom, this lead to brave Mandy to sit in the bathroom listening intently. One of our male mediums Mark picked up the name Emily in room eight, this was later confirmed through communication with glass divination. One of our lady mediums Mel, felt the male presence of a spectral being called Walter, this too was confirmed via glass divination.
Phil our amazing team leader reported that he had never witnessed such ferocity or speed when watching the glass divination, that he saw in room seven that night, which is quite some statement given the amount of events he has attended over the years. Steve and Tony said at the time that they used to be sceptics, but what they had seen in this former orphanage had changed their view entirely. Michelle said she too was also a sceptic until she had seen at first hand the paranormal activity that she had seen that night.
Many of our ghost hunters heard the deathly exhale of breathing in room eight, Rosey also heard a loud unexplained growl in her ear, in room seven we were all shocked to hear the distinct tapping on top of the bedside cabinet in the room. Ann and Jo both noted how they felt their left legs getting noticeably colder, with no breeze apperently in the room.
After the event had finished Rosey and Mel retired to bed in room eight, allegedly the most haunted room in the hotel, apperently they were just falling to sleep when the bedside table started knock and tap once again and the flicking of the handles on Rosey's headboard woke them up, maybe our two team leaders were ready for some sleep, but the spirits had other ideas.
All in all it was another great night of activity and a big thank you to all the ghost hunters who joined us. We look forward to seeing you all again.
