subject: Some Thoughts On Google Pagerank [print this page] Some Thoughts On Google Pagerank Some Thoughts On Google Pagerank
I've always wanted something to get rid of PageRank and the hype attached to it to be updated, here are my thoughts on the PageRank.
I had before the last update of the many already occasionally smile if PageRank is dead or posts will be abolished. Ok, the PageRank is perhaps not the ranking killer of the past days, but why should Google do away with it? Some people argued that because of the link builders and sellers, but does it really make sense? If the PageRank was abolished, would it not break the link market. Link building would come to a halt. Google's problem, they would lose the activities of link sellers. Today you can be fooled by websites with the thick green bar. The PageRank moves but to link builders like flies ;-)
If you want to annoy a link seller, then they pull him stop abruptly 2 points from his green bar already forfeited the prize and the tenants notice to know that the Google page and therefore has its links to the radar. PageRank without all this were not so simple anymore. Google would have to go back to the search for the clumsy villains. Know now, thanks to the Google PageRank where to look for it, but after removal of PageRank would be some time not clear which metrics would be developed in the Link Business Link and how tenants and sellers behaved. Because it does make "with" PageRank much more fun.
The same game with the actual link: operator. Earlier at a Google backlink request only the best links has shown up from PR4. Unfortunately, these were the most interesting links for the bad Seo, who could look so good for new exchange partners and back-link options. Of course that was not in Google's mind. Most have now simply link function turned off to the Seos not to support it. But what would have happened, all would have run the competition and we would have lost a little control. Since it was much smarter to switch the function simple. You crippling as it were. Instead of the best links you needed but just a handful of worthless's back left, the crowd would pounce on it and stock up with ineffectual waste. And so it is not quite as quick strikes, they sprinkled a few useful links in between. does not go better. And the PageRank is still the same game.
But what I ask for some time, this PageRank deductions for link sellers are really so smart. If the buyer but believe it or PR7 PR8 links would still bear fruit, they should put their hard earned money to the adit PageRank farmers in the neck. Then you know where they can stick, quietly devalue the links and ties a lot of capital to the worthless links, so that missing link for further acquisitions the Money. Would have the charm of such an approach. So if I were Google, I would not give up the PageRank. Never ever:)
