Choosing the right cell phone that fits with your personality

Choosing a cell phone can be an absolute nightmare and there are so many consideration to make before even beginning to look at handsets including whether or not you want to go for a monthly payment or prepaid option and which carrier you should opt for. However, when you do finally get round to the stage of choosing a cell phone, there are clearly a number of important considerations you need to make after all, just because the iPhone is the most talked about phone on the planet doesn't necessarily make it the right choice for you if all you plan to do is make a few calls every month or so. In such instances, you would be better opting for a prepaid option.

Picking a handset is a personal choice and different people are attracted to different styles of phone touchscreen phones, "candybar" phones, slide phones and flip phones, that is just a small selection really and list is pretty much endless. So, which option is right for you? The best thing about flip phones is that they prevent accidental dialing when placed in your pocket, the phone closes over so there is very little chance of you pressing any numbers when sitting down or engaging in any other activity. Many people also feel that flip phones are easier to use than other types of phones when conversing. Slide phones on the other hand are a sturdier option and they also limit the chances of accidental dialling these have become an increasingly popular option in recent years.

Another consideration you need to make relates to the size of the screen and the keypad. This may not even be a consideration if you decide to opt for a touchscreen phone, which, if you are unfamiliar with this model of phone, can be a bit confusing for beginners. However, as cell phones advance they are likely to become the norm and this owes much to the popularity of the iPhone as anything else. Touchsreen phones obviously don't require a keypad and everything is done on the phone itself this limits the bulkiness of the phone and makes interaction with the device a lot simpler.
