The purpose of man's existence!
Whoever you are, and wherever you will be, you must have encountered the universe with its full impact. No way to escape it, no way to avoid it, no way to blind your eyes to it.
Once you are born into this world you are set out to find, in one way or the other, an explanation. Your confrontation with the universe is as obligatory as having to eat, drink, sleep and think.
Every one must think. No one can live without thinking, unless you are a real plant, a vegetable. Even vegetables have to think about surviving. But vegetables, being morons, mentally handicapped or imbeciles, or even respectable citizens like yourself, think what is it all about? Why the hell should they be what they are and have to eat and drink sleep and make love like robots and mechanos.
We all are born, grow up, and most of us develop into human beings while a lot evolve into Bipeds, chimpanzees, parrots and inhumans. Our lifecycle is a forced phenomenon of which no one escapes. It is pre-planned and it is pre-programmed. Your constitution is already worked out to the last detail, even the color of your pupils are already decided according to some three millions of genetic charters.
You are further equipped with some 120 billions of neurons to think, observe, analyze, deduce, conclude and make up your own convictions.
All this is programmed before hand and you have no one say in it. Your shape, form, a trunk, a head, four limbs, just like chimpanzees, to please your ancestor Darwin, are all preprogrammed and designed before hand. You have no one choice in all these. You submit to this form and shape and color. You are forced into the process of ageing and your cells are programmed before to age and you have no one word to say about it. You submit yourself to it like a good rat, or a mouse, for ladies.
The you have to confront the universe in which you have to be in. This is also as forced upon you as your very being in it. Your conditions of life are already provided and your means of substances are all provided. You had no role, none whatsoever, to play in producing atmospheric pressure or the air or oxygen nor the ozone zone.
You do not make the earth turn around the sun. It is already in its orbit long before your were even born. So, you are not the one who does the job. Your planet earth rotates around its axis every twenty four hours our time, and you have no role in making rotating about itself.
You are only an observer and cannot possibly be anything else. Unless you made the world yourself some twenty billions of years ago!!
