Easy Steps to Closing Sales Online
By Michael Griep
Many people struggle with the idea of closing sales due to lack of sales experience or self-confidence. Fact is, closing sales online can be an easy process if you follow a few simple steps.
1.Target Advertising
Target your advertising and write your ad copy in such a way that it appeals to your target audience. Try to avoid being too vague and general. The goal of your ad copy is to move your prospect to action, which in most cases is to lead your prospect to your website.
2. Website Design
Your website is your presentation, and should be clear, concise and not be confusing. It should explain all aspects of the business you are promoting. Solid websites should answer most of the questions your prospect may have about your business, including membership fees, marketing expectations, a mission statement about the business, and of course a compensation overview. When viewing your website ask yourself, "Based upon the content of tis website, would I be inclined to move to action and join?" Professionally designed websites will help close sales, and in some cases, people may join without having to speak with anyone.
3. Reach out to Your Prospects
Don't assume people have the information they need to join your business based upon your website and autoresponder emails. It is crucial you call your opt ins and begin dialogue with your prospects. Closing sales is nothing more than helping your prospects feel comfortable about the decision to join your business. Especially in high ticket businesses ($1000 or more), it is important that you create rapport and thoroughly explain the business. When you do this, you'll close more sales online, and begin to build a solid team.
Most of all, be confident and professionally assertive. Confidence breeds trust and trust strengthens relationships. Don't concern yourself with outdated sales techniques. Be yourself, be honest and listen to the concerns of your prospects.
"Seek first to understand, then to be understood."
No truer words have ever been written which better explain the art of closing sales. Follow these simple steps and you will close more sales online!
