Taormina, Sicily Sicily has still not been discovered by the masses, yet is easily accessible and Taormina has gorgeous views of Mount Etna. Swim in the sea around Toarmina and you will be happy with the warm, salty waters; a far cry from the waters around the coast of the UK. There are areas of natural beauty around the town, and plenty to do for a week's holiday. It retains an air of the past and is a great location to really escape the rat race.
