subject: A Remedy For Tired Aching Feet [print this page]

Golf is at once the most wonderful and the most awful of sports. It is trying to the skill of the individual player, a test for the temper, and a reliance on the peculiar specifications of a tiny dimpled ball. One thing is for certain, a real golfer never rides a cart unless they are too old or infirm to endure the trials of a five mile hike through the torturous moonscape swale that is your average course. Therefore, the feet of that typical short drive, long putt sportsman are likely to have to endure some aches and pains of their own along the way. When the goal of eighteen is finally accomplished and home is reached, that golfer is going to need a remedy for tired aching feet that does more than just promise relief. That concoction, whether from a home remedy company or wherever, is going to have to deliver a three hundred yard, straight down the fairway drive of comfort.

Most golfers are what they call duffers or hackers. A duffer is someone who can sometimes come up with a good score by the accident of fate; a hacker never will because they are the cat who digs trenches in the turf, and only ever putted a ball successfully at a clown's face. The real problem with this is that any remedy for tired aching feet must overcome the heat of golf shoes and the miles trod searching for a golf ball that couldn't find the fairway with a GPS and a seeing-eye dog. A home remedy firm may have found the answer to this remedy for tired aching feet, but the golf game is what is really in need of assistance.

Slicing it into the woods on one hole and then hitting the home remedy sign beside the highway with a hook the other way makes for a lot of pounding the pavement. A remedy for tired aching feet in this circumstance would be to throw those clubs in the nearest deep body of water. Somewhere they couldn't be retrieved by even the most repentant and determined golfer.

When the recalcitrant golfer gets home though, they still have the golf clubs and the gall to slaughter another round soon. Applying that home remedy foot relief somehow sinks into the brain and tells the hacker that the day wasn't so bad after all. Maybe next time that ball will go where it is bid and make them a scratch golfer.
