Jeff Caliguire's The Convergence highlights seven steps to achieving convergence. Most of us have no idea how such a convergence is even possible. Caliguire's seven-step method outlines the journey through self-discovery and helps individuals realize their callings and what they were born to do.
According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, "convergence" is defined as "the act of converging and especially moving toward union or uniformity." In a new book by Jeff Caliguire, convergence is shared as something that we need to achieve in order to discover our callings in life. His book, The Convergence, explains just how we can reach a point where we are certain about such things as our career paths and how we can each lead the fulfilling life we were meant to lead.
Jeff Caliguire's The Convergence highlights seven steps to achieving convergence. Most of us have no idea how such a convergence is even possible. Caliguire's seven-step method outlines the journey through self-discovery and helps individuals realize their callings and what they were born to do.
The seven steps leading to convergence are called "resolves." These resolves include accepting one's uniqueness, acting out of being, embracing positive energy, pursuing one's passion and skills, following one's calling, community collaborating, and foregoing the good to achieve the great. Caliguire asserts that each individual, regardless of whether he/she is ordinary or has achieved greatness, deserves to maximize his/her potential.
The phrase, "make the world a better place," is tossed around so much that it has become rather trite and commonplace. However, The Convergence suggests that the journey through self-discovery will indeed make the world a better place, but "It all starts with the individual. The Convergence is about you and me committing to live out the best version of ourselves."
The premise of the book asks the reader to envision a world in which every individual succeeds in unlocking his/her full potential-leaving his/her stamp on the world. Can a world be imagined where everyone is passionate about his/her work? The result would be amazing. Jeff Caliguire seeks to spread this concept of the convergence to as many people as possible.
In Caliguire's own words, convergence is "being fully free to be who you are - doing what you were born to do - in the place you're meant to do it." The Convergence takes the guesswork out of self-discovery, and guides the reader down the path to his/her full potential. This is a must read for anyone who has yet to find contentment in life and work.
