If you Google this word, aside from the above articles and Reology website, you will discover two other topics under Reology. The first is a branch of science called Rheology, often misspelled Reology. The second refers to real estate services, where Realology might be a more appropriate term.
For this series of Articles, the Definition of Reology (Derived from Reality) is: The overview of all experience and existence, or reality, in terms of what is the ultimate fundamental ingredient of that experience and existence.
From Wikipedia: "Reality, in everyday usage, means "the state of things as they actually exist." The term reality, in its widest sense, includes everything that is, whether or not it is observable or comprehensible. Reality in this sense may include both being and nothingness, whereas existence is often restricted to being (compare with nature). In the strict sense of philosophy, there are levels or gradation to the nature and conception of reality. These levels include, from the most subjective to the most rigorous: phenomenological (from the Greek phainmenon: "that which appears") reality, truth, fact, and axiom".
There is a source, a "point" of origin from which all reality arises, and which includes, but is not limited to, all the versions and perceptions humankind has for reality.
Reology is the effort to discover and define this source as evidenced in the process of perception, and the structure and make up of what we conceive to be matter and energy, and space and time. Reology refers to these three attributes of physical reality as the Three Grand Illusions.
This concept of reality is predicated upon the very means humankind is endowed with to recognize, question, and define things, whether labeled real or imagined, know or unknown, observable or incomprehensible: in short, everything that is. This is the reality code.
From our collective knowledge, Reology identifies Philosophy (including Mythology and Metaphysics), Science, and Religion as being the most foundational vocations of man directly devoted to defining and understanding the source of all that exists.
According to Reology, only Science and the Judeo/Christian Religion actually provide us with evidence consistent with each other. There are Philosophies that in part also offer collaboration here, as well as some Mythological and Metaphysical views, but mostly these thought systems include ideas too conflicting as well. While some Philosophical, Mythological, and Metaphysical views may allude to the nature of reality at the atomic and even quantum levels, they provide no evidence of these views. They are instead just incredibly gifted insights. Therefore these areas of thought are not foundational to Reology.
Certainly the question will arise as to how this is not applicable to the Judeo/Christian Religion as well, but in fact there are specific scriptures that confirm Quantum Mechanics in some modern sense. Consideration must be given to the fact these verses are around 2,000 years old or older, and the terminology and language of those days were incapable of describing a science based quantum reality. Additionally, who then among the population of those days would have even understood or have been interested in the foundations of reality on a scientific basis? Surprisingly however, some of the great Scholars of that time did in fact display tremendous insight as to reality's make up, but they were few and far between and were postulated on ideas without evidence. The evidence and findings of science however is authoritative, and while many will disagree, so too are the Biblical Scriptures referenced in the eBook; Pistis; Reology, The Three Grand Illusions, and The Power To Choose.
For example, the first four verses in the Bible, Genesis 1-4, describes a creation scenario consistent with Science's Big Bang Theory. What Science calls the initial singularity that existed prior to the Big Bang is consistent with the presence of God. Science claims everything we know originated from energy that managed to "explode" itself into all the matter that exists. The Bible tells us it was God's Word that created all matter. Realize God is not a physical creature, but one of pure spirit, which is a conscious awareness that supersedes physical identity. Science refuses to give credibility to its "singularity" being anything super natural. The question then is where did this singularity come from? How did the energy that became our universe evolve from this singularity? With God, He already exists before the beginning of the Universe. His "energy" is His ability to create from simply thinking things into existence or "observing" them into being. Ironically, Quantum Mechanics confirms matter cannot be physically independent of a conscious observer. Our ability to see, feel, taste, smell, and hear cannot exist according to QM, because we first need an observer to make them physically real. Additionally, God said let there be light, and light is elemental to all the processes of matter. Reologically, this is strong evidence of God.
Reology is concerned with making reality more comprehensible to everyone, regardless of educational background beyond a high school level and present cultural beliefs, including religious ones. This is not to say understanding this will not require effort. Just trying to get a grasp of Quantum Mechanic's implications alone means thinking outside the box of normally accepted beliefs about our reality; way outside the box. Once this is grasped however, what becomes evident is a reality that is built upon a beauty and consistency and even simplicity that cannot be denied. It certainly can and will be disputed, but it cannot be denied.
One element of that thinking outside the box mentioned above that really takes getting used to, as many who've read the previous articles in this series can testify, is the relationship between time, the things we observe, and the very means by which we make our observations. This is one reason why Quantum Mechanics is so bazaar to our normal way of thinking. Quantum Mechanics is the scientific study of the make up and origin of everything we know, from the entire universe to the smallest structures we find in nature, including us. What happens at the Quantum level should logically reflect itself in what happens at the macro level, our everyday experiences with a physical reality. This is not the case however. There are contradictions between these two worlds that seem simply incomprehensible from the scientific perspective. From the perspective of Reology however, there is harmony.
