In reality, internet marketing is like any other business, it needs to be marketed effectively and you are constantly looking at new ways of developing your business.

Self Discipline and Time Management
It's important that you set yourself a work schedule for the week...mine sometimes changes on a daily basis but by the end of the week I've managed to do all the things I set out to do. This is so important because while working from home is what many of us aspire to, it is so easy to be distracted...partners, children, pets, the television, the phone...the list goes on...all interfering with our concentration and focus until we get to the end of the day and realize we haven't done half of what we intended. You have to be tough...with yourself and others...you might be at home but people need to understand that when you're working, you'redoing exactly that and allow you to get on.I always switch my phone off once I've made the calls that need to be made...I check for messages when I have a break, otherwise I'd have the phone attached to my ear 24/7!
A Good Work Ethic
The best thing for me about working from home is having no boss telling me what to do, however this can be difficult for some as they are so used to working that way. I take my role as a Mentor very seriously and my teams success is paramount to me...we have training webinars four times weekly to teach the skills and techniques needed to build a successful online business...but I'm not going to run your business for you.
You have to be prepared to put in the work it takes to be successful online and you can't look to your mentor to do that for you...I'm here to coach you and help you avoid making the mistakes I might have made when I first started out. There will be no boss telling you what to do, no deadlines to meet...it's all down to you, so you see why having a good work ethic is essential to your success.
The Right Mindset
People can be very negative about others' success because successful people remind us of our own shortcomings and failures, and it is the fear of failure that stops us leaving our comfort zone and taking on a new challenge.
The road to financial freedom is not always easy, it is your reaction to the ups and downs of your journey that will make the difference between success and failure...a positive mindset is a must to enable you to work towards your goals, negative thoughts and energy are not good for you or your business...if you think you can, you can!! If you think you can't you wont? Get the picture. You must be serious! Its your business and it is a serious business not a hobby.
Develop a positive mindset and try and surround yourself with positive, like minded people. The most successful business people have usually tried and failed before achieving success...these failures are seen as part of a learning process which brought them to where they are today.
I apply these basic principles to help and mentor others in our team as they are what helped me grow my business. Some of the skills I already had, others I developed over time. Life is an infinite learning process and I am continually discovering new things to help me succeed with my online business.
Let go of the fear, make that step and get started...it doesn't matter if you don't think you have all, or any of these skills; with the right mentor you can develop them in time....and it will take time, how long depends on you but you will get there, as long as you remember that this is not a free lottery ticket, it's a chance for you to take control of your life and financial freedom.Those that succeed are the ones that understand the level of hard work and commitment required to reach that goal.
