In this article I try to explain how to organize a party in just a few days. First of all, sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and decide what kind of party you wish to have. Write down all your ideas and think about the best locations for these "visions". Having the party at home requires more preparation. So check out a date when you and most of your friends have time. You should talk to owners of clubs and bars in your city and ask them, if it is possible to rent rooms for an evening.
Go online or go through the paper, magazines to determine the perspective cost of your event. If you are having the event at a "for rent" location be sure to factor that cost in. Food is also a big ticket item, don't underestimate the cost.
After that you take a piece of paper an divide it into two columns. Over the left one you write "definite" and over the left one you write "maybe". Put the names of your friends you definitely want to party with on the first column and the other people on the latter one.
Now you call every person in the first row and if there is anyone who does not have time on the chosen date, a person from the column "maybe" moves to "definitely". Maybe you also should get there email addresses and send them invitations for the party event. Cross every person who cannot come to your party to not get confused later on.
Now you send invitations per mail or maybe you open a facebook event. You send every friend an invitation and ask them to confirm the date.
After you have invited all the people you go and get some goodies. Buy crisp, and beer and some soft drinks, for the people who have to drive. Maybe you choose some music to play. If most of your friends have the same kind of music(i.e. rock) play that. If you are not sure you might better play charts.
And, most important, make sure, that your parents do not come home early!
