How to approach God? Uncertainty of attainment! Part III
Personally, I have no pretension to such attainment nor did not meet anyone who has done the full trip. But whatever hypocrites and pretenders to such attainment did never leave their bodies for one moment to attain unity with God, otherwise, they are not here to tell us their story.
We must always take what they pretend to have attained with a pinch of salt, and a big one for that matter. Sufis, nor ascetics, or even saints, never attain unity with God annihilating their being, where It is neither me nor You but You. Utter bullshit and none sense.
We, as humans, have feet to stand on and these feet are well incrusted in the mud. No head has left its place from the shoulders of a human being to travel into the divine distance and the divine experience of the divine world and came back with any sight seeing photos. Not even prophets and messengers made such an adventure. No one went THERE and came back to tell us about his, or her, impressions.
We are all attached strongly and really to our planet earth and then when we die we leave our body to no one knows where.
What is experienced, more or less with different results, is the attempt to take the road to God and some of the very few, who have enough interest, time and patience to do it, apperceived on personal something that no one shares with them such a thing.
If you succeed to get through your personal barriers into the divine experience then you have attained an ultra planet achievement, you have attained some of the truth and reality human beings are made for.
Holy humans do not exist, we are all bastards in one way or another, ungrateful in one manner or another, but we are humans and aspire, if we can to make the approach to the one who has made us what we are and put us on our feet to watch the spectacle of His admirable creation.
What is certain that once we make the approach towards God is that He would make an effort to receive our approach positively. But our sincerity in our approach and our intention to endeavor the trial with success and perseverance might be very well rewarded with success. However, nothing is certain, for no one person has a promise from God with certified certificate, or bond, to have a positive result for his approach.
Humans remain, at best, in this world, but aspire to the divine, realizing mainly peace of mind, with great admiration for the handiwork of the divine and hoping for the best. Our expressionin our approach to the divine is mainfested through love, worship and servitude. But total annihiliationfor God is contradiction in terms.
Religious scriptures emphasize that the gate of God is always open, for everyone without exceptions. Man shouls do his utmost to believe in God, approach Himin every way possible. God invites man to open his heart and open his mind and soul to God.
Man is informed how God keeps His gate open and those who approcah Him with love and devotion, with worship and service He would hearken to them and open His bounty to them. He would lead them in this world and in the Hereafter they will attain eternal felicity. They will eschew His wrath and His punihsment. It is only those who approach God shall attain His favor and His eternal bliss and shall have no fear nor be among the sad ones.
It is this openness of God's Gate that humans are invited to take. The road is not easy. Christ has infoormed us that the road to the Kingdom of Hevans is very narrow and hard and only those who aspire with all their efforts abandoning this life that shall attain God's favor and hence His Kingdom. In the Qur'anic text we read the same thing. We are informed how God is always there to hearken to His servants and worshippers. Only those who made enough efforts and pass the trilas and tests that earn God's favor.
God is near and hearken to those who call upon Him and invoke His name. Those who approach Him He would answer favorably, but those who forget Him and deny His messages then He would forget them and they shall be among the losers, the black sheep.
