Dictatorship, tyranny and despotism are but the outcome of the same phenomenon: man controls man. In every relationship of two or more individuals, or at the level of people, one clever dick jumps out to dictate his, or her, opinion upon the others.
No two persons, on a relationship, for short or long duration have equal chance to decide by themselves in a mutual consultative manner. One must dominate the other. In your family, among your friends, in your job and in your club, there is always a dick that wants to dominate.
Dictatorship, once given a chance, immerges to the surface and dominates. The individual, having the impetus to dominate and control over the others, be it humans, animals or mice, takes the lead and projects himself as the leader.
This phenomenon of dictatorship is observed in All societies whether human or animal. Look at every society today or in the past. You see only dictators controlling the multitudes.
The one-man-rule is a concrete phenomena that applies to all societies. Democracy is bit a mirage that never takes place. For elections and universal suffrage are but mechanisms to provide one person, be it a man, or a woman, with control and absolute control at that. Constitutions guarantee the right to dictate and rule. Constitutions are but the vehicle of the one-man-rule, and absolute rule.
Look at any constitution and you will see that the president, or king, or sultan, or emir, or even the secretary of the party, provides him with absolute powers. The constitution of the united States, or Russia, France or England provides one individual, man or woman, with the presidency of the state, he, or she, is the chief of government and chief of administration. He or she is the supreme chief of the armed forces. He. or she, is the ultimate chioef of justice. He or she is the lawgiver, adminstrtad through his party members in the Congress.
He or she can declare war and has the right to send his, or her, fellow citizens to their death. He or she has the right to make all political decisions, economic decisions and social decisions.
The whole state machine serve the personal wishes and vision of the president. It is all guaranteed by the constitution.
Where is democracy? It is sent down the toilette! And all the people with it.
By elections you forfeit your right to decide by yourself. You forsake yourself for the opinion of your president, leader, king or what have you.
