How to Make Your Dreams Come True -- The Greatest Postulate Ever

Just as the flap of a butterfly in Australia can cause a hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean a simple postulate can transform a whole life. I know. It happened for me. One day, I stumbled on the statement that said, "Your feelings attract your life." From that day on, my life has never been the same. My reality surpassed my wildest dreams.

One single concept can change a whole life. That is, if the concept is valid, accepted, understood and fully assimilated. Words alone are moot unless acted upon with faith and confidence. That is something that I hope to render possible in this article.

The sentence, "Your feeling attract your life" means that your predominant feelings will attract the kind of life that you will experience. If most of your thoughts lead you to believe that you will experience health, wealth and abundance, chances are very high that this is what you will experience.

On the other hand, if you dwell on lacks and negativities, your chances are very good that it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy. What you think about comes about.

The notion presented here is not necessarily related to the esotericism that can be found in the various works on the Law of Attraction. It has a much more "down to earth" foundation.

Our postulate is founded on the premise that the mind is constantly being bombarded with a multitude of information and stimulus. For that reason, it has to be selective as to what it will allow to go through to our conscious thoughts. The mind will filter what we are interested in and let it come in and filter out most other inputs and block them.

In other word, we see what we are interested in and we ignore what is of no interest to us. So, if we focus on health, wealth and abundance, that's what we will see and that is what we'll gravitate toward. The same olds true for the other end of the spectrum. If we focus on hardships, that's where we'll gravitate and that's what we'll get.

Now, to be effective, the practice of the theory presented here has to be kept on generalities and not on specifics. In other words, if we dwell on abundances, chances are very high that we will know abundance. But, if we focus on a specific amount of money to be acquired at a specific date, chances are very high that it will not happen.

This is not about a shopping catalog where we can order whatever it is that we want in life. It's about directing the overall course of our life. It's about influencing the course that our life will take. The highroad to success and happiness or the low road to the tedium of a very "ordinary" life.

It must also be stressed that this process deals in feelings and not on specific thoughts. A slight but very important distinction. It has nothing to do with mantras or affirmations. Either we feel optimistic about the overall course of our life or we don't. It's as simple as that.

A mind under control can be our best friend and benefactor. That same mind, allowed to run amok can be our worst enemy. Like any powerful tool, the mind needs to be monitored to be truly effective. That is especially true when it comes to what we decide to focus on.

We have the choice between focusing on the good and desirable or to focus what has gone wrong or could go wrong. Whatever we chose to focus on will determine our predominant feelings and those feelings will attract our life. That's what the postulate that says, "Your feelings attract your life" is all about.
