Most people don't know what the kingdom of god is
They assume that it is a religion and particularly a religion that they themselves are associated with, but both of these assumptions are wrong. First of all, a kingdom has an active king that rules over it hence the word king-dom. It is a government, if you will. God's kingdom administration is headed by God the father, his son Jesus Christ and the governor and counselor the Holy Spirit. In a kingdom, The King owns everything within his territory plus the people who reside in it. You can't vote a king out of power nor is there anything such as a majority vote. The only vote that counts is the king's will. Whenever a king speaks his word becomes law. This is why kings don't say much because they know they have to be careful about what they say or it will become law!! In a Democracy or Republic there is a balance of power between the supreme court, president/ prime minister and senate. In a kingdom all the power is held by the king himself. In other words, he is the government. When you see the king he is the personification of the country and its power.
Culture of the Kingdom
The kingdom of God is the king's will, intent, values, ideas and beliefs impacting a territory that he personally owns and everything in it producing a citizenry of people who reflect the ideals and nature of the king. The only message Jesus preached in the Bible was the kingdom of god. As a matter of fact, he says for this very purpose I was sent to earth.If you don't believe me, see all the times he references it in the new testament.
