More often than not, people give excuses of why their life has not or is not turning out how they wish.
They give excuses of why their businesses aren't flourishing. If you want a successful business online, you will have to learn how to take responsibility for your actions. You must learn how to take the necessary steps toward the changes you need to make in your life and realize the only person that stands in the way of having everything you want is you.
Now is the time. Decide to give up your excuses and admit that you have always had the power to make a difference. We have control over three things in our lives: the thoughts that we think, the opportunities that we visualize, and the actions that we take.
If something didn't work out the way you wanted it to, you must ask yourself how you allowed the outcome to be created instead of blaming others or the situation at hand. We often point our problems out as separate entities independent of ourselves instead of examining the part we played in the outcome. Take a look at this equation: E (event) + R ( response) = O (outcome)
For each event that comes into our lives, we choose our response to it, which will give a predictable outcome. If you do not like the outcome, then it's time to start managing your response. Think back to a recent situation that gave you an undesirable outcome. Generally, people will respond in either one or two ways.
1) you may either blame a person or circumstance.
2) Or number two, you will change your response to the event in order to have the outcome that you want.
Although it is true that not every situation is our fault, it is important to understand it is our choice how we respond to the situation and think about what part we played that gave a particular outcome. For example, let's say you created a video series on DVD pertaining to the top five best strategies to use when taking your network marketing business online. Now let's imagine the company you hired that is responsible for producing and shipping the DVD out was over a month late in its production process. Your initial response may be to blame the company. A better response would be to take a close look at what part you played in the situation. Even though it is not your fault the production company is late with the processing and shipping, perhaps you could have mapped out in your contract an exact time line in writing of each step up to shipment of the DVD as well as the consequences if care isn't taken to honor the agreement instead of assuming the company understood everything they would need to get the DVD out on time.
Somehow we have come to an age of deniablity. We find a way to take as little responsiblity for our actions as possible, and by doing this we have started to destroy the work ethic that once made us who we are. Evaluating the choices that we make is the first step in making better decisions that will lead to achieving the success you want.
