It can be easy to fall into a boring routine at several points in your life, you may find yourself coming home from work and then sitting in front of the TV all night, or day could follow the same routine, of going to work, picking up the kinds from school, cooking dinner, and then going to bed. But it doesn't have to be this way, and you can easily break any routine if you follow the right steps.

Get motivated

Why do you want to ditch an old routine and get into a new one? Is there a goal you want to achieve, such as losing weight, or saving up for a holiday? Think about what you want to do, and why you want to do it, and make sure that you're doing it for you, not someone else.

Start Changing Slowly

If you're attempting to make a big change in your life, then it's best to start making changes slowly, don't try to change every little thing that you do straight away, as this will give your system a shock, and make you more likely to give up. If you want to save money, start by putting a small amount away each month, and then gradually increase it. Don't scrimp and save in order to put away big amounts, because that will make you more likely to cut into your savings in order to buy everyday necessities.

Reward Yourself

If you worked hard in order to achieve something that you want, then you should reward yourself for all the effort you've put into achieving that goal. The reward could be some new clothes, a meal in a restaurant or perhaps even a foreign holiday, it's completely up to you.
