The actor Shriya Saran is seems to be at cloud nine these days as the actor is experiencing the joy of completing her dream. She has recently opened a Spa in Mumbai- Shree Spa, which is run by visually challenged people.
Open in collaboration with NGO called Shreespandana, the spa is attracting loads of people for its noble cause. This Mumbai Spa has been opened a week ago.
According to actor, Shriya Saran the main point of appointing visually challenged people is that they have knowledge but still they are unemployed. They are seemed to be employed just to make candles and nothing more than that.
The newly launched spa is situated at 216, 2nd Floor, Kamdhenu Building No. 1, first Cross Lane, Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri, Mumbai. The spa offers you with all kind of therapies like, full body massage, foot massage and back massage.
Five people are appointed for the job in this luxury spa of India, three are with partial sight while two of them are sightless. Shriya Saran expresses her views that although these people are unable to see but they are keen with a sense of touch and healing. According to her in India and in many cases internationally, disability is not viewed normally and are not accepted as the other members of workforce. India is not a very rich country and it lacks in adding some facilities making difficult for such persons.
She started weaving the dream of launching the relaxing spa for people as well giving an opportunity to disabled when she used to visit the visually challenged school just opposite to her school in Delhi.
