It is understood that all numerical or math solutions are very simple and like one, two, three. You need to solve some equations, for some assigned numbers, you just pull out some hits in multiple-choice questions, some of them fit and you just done with the all.
But this mindset will not guarantee you with a good score of marks. As for a good students to be in TExES study. This is what I have learnt from my experience as a TExES teacher and I wish you to take it as my advice for your own good.

That's what I wanted, to give a jolt before I can explain the common misunderstanding about TExES, which may stop you in the middle.
To become a successful TExES teacher and achieve certificate you need to understand all these things, otherwise chances are limited to be a good teacher in TExES.
TExES for sure is going to be totally new to you.
The most difficult part of this study is been taken very easily by many of my students which is its verbal part.
Any change even at the minute level can alter the meaning of content so a great deal of attention is been paid by my students to solve the problem because without complete understanding the main problem, it will be difficult to solve it.
Same level of understanding is required in math related portion but my same intelligent students think it is different from the other one and at this point they are wrong.
You wrong judgment at this level even a minor one can sabotage your all TExES scoring.
Let me give you an example, If 3x + x = 25 was a question in exam they are asking for the value of x + 3? And answer is coming x. Because the question was not read carefully and nobody took care that they are asking for the value of x. not for the value of x + 2.
It goes further in another question it goes like 6y + 3x = 14 and the value being asked was of y? And same again wrongly understood and answered in same way, and I m talking about really bright students answered for the X.
It is enough to prove how a minor mistake of understanding can harm your all credibility, and damage your whole scoring. So it is not sensible to ruin your whole effort by yourself.
The key to refrain from such mistakes is use a practical approach just focus on the original demand put forward to you, as in given example if any one could just pin point the original gem of the rock he can score higher.
It is very lucky of you that the marks obtained are not going fade away that easy so make most of your time.
