Well we live in a busy world and we all have insane amounts of work to do and so little time.Time is something that we all need to manage better but to give you a break I am going to give you a checklist of major tips and tricks to further your health journey. If you can just keep to these simple ideas while you are going through the detoxification process then you will achieve so much!
Keep only health snacks in your kitchen like hummus, apples, nuts and carrots so that temptation can not derail you.
Do not deny your hunger. If your stomach is calling out for food, make sure you eat something.
If you have a bad day and you succumb to your temptations, DO NOT PUNISH YOURSELF! We all have our bad times and negative emotions will just release more hormones into your system and cause more waste.
Try not todrink water and eat at the same time. Keeping them separate will increase nutrient absorption.
Make sure you have good posture. Not only will it be beneficial to your spine, but your posture is directly connected with your self esteem. You are worthy of standing tall so keep your chin up!
Chewing Gum (though good for your teeth) causes havoc to your stomach and intestines. Chewingsets off digestive reactions so only chew just before or after a meal. Otherwise try peppermint tea to freshen breath.
Take time to listen to your own head. What negative thoughts are you piling on yourself every day. Gather energy to fight these! We don't need this negativity poisoning our minds.
While detoxing decrease your intake of the 9 temptations. They are: Margarine, Tomato/BBQ sauce, Coffee, Alcohol, Cigarettes, Sugary drinks, Wheat, Sweets and Dairy products.
Keep a healthy balance in your life. Do not become obsessed with your weight or health.
Follow the10 Commandments of health!
Increase the fibre in your diet (or by a supplement). You should be experiencing a bowel movement at least once a day.
Chew your food and sip your water. You body will be able to handle what you put into it much better if it is in manageable chunks.
Throw out your bathroom scales!
Come to terms with some of your hidden emotions. These can drive your bad habits.
Make sure you exfoliate or use a body brush once a week.
Make sure the food you are putting into your body is actually giving you the necessary nutrition (breakfast & snacks)
Do not skip breakfast. It really is the most important meal of your day as it "boots up" your digestive system for the day and provides you with the energy you need to get started.
So that is a quick summary tips and tricks for beginners. Remember it is the combination of all these things that is making a difference to your overall health. You should take about 3 months to get all of these steps into place and then you will be ready for the next section.
