Oily skin? no problem!
Oily skin? no problem!

A few of the options for ladies with oily pores and skin?

Greasy skin isn't generally something which anyone want is it? Unfortunately though, most women will suffer from oily skin at some point. So what can be done then? How can you relieve the issue of greasy skin? Well that's exactly what this post is about, so please read on for some hints.

What's the problem with oily skin?

The biggest problem which most people have with having greasy skin is that it doesn't look particularly nice cosmetically. It can cause spots, acne and sore skin and often doesn't feel all that nice.

What you can do about it:

Hormonal variables are a big cause of greasy skin, which is why many teens have problems with it, but that's not to tell you older people can't have oily skin too. Regarding more severe cases it may be worth talking with your doctor, as there are medical alternatives out there. Even so, in the majority of cases this probably should not be necessary and there are lots of more alternative possibilities.

Use a mild face lotion

Steer clear of soap (don't worry, I'm not suggesting you avoid washing) Soap isn't very mild or caring on your skin and could worsen the problem. Try a more gentle lotion designed for your skin type, don't fall too much for the marketing hype and make sure to try a few different brands. What works for one person may not be ideal for another.

Stop the squeeze

Squeezing spots is at times very tempting, however it might just make things worse. If you must do it then be sure you clean your hands first of all and wash your face afterwards Better yet, don't do it at all, try using focused spot ointment on problem areas.

Get yourself a treatment

Day spa clinics have a broad array of different remedies and programs which can not only feel great, but also help to treat skin problems and help you skin to feel much more at ease and healthy. It can be worth the price of receiving a good quality therapy now and then, so why not have a look out for a day spa close to you?
