Ok let's say you want to start at home, remember most dogs are not comfortable with the use of collar while some are excited to get it on, train your dog to "sit' and "stay" first before training your dog to take on a leash, some dogs will struggle around and run while trying to put on the lead or collar on them that is why the command "sit and stay" is very important.
Next, take a walk around your compound, it is natural tendency for him to pull, just resist him by standing still and holding grip to the leash, and gently change direction, keep repeating it until he get use it.
Once he get use to the various commands at any point in time and location, ensure you reward him, as this will yield obedience training and dog smartness. Keep the above training and the result will amaze you.
