Christian Bale has won the Oscars for the Best Supporting Actor for his film, The Fighter. He says he had to loose a lot of weight for this film. He dropped his body weight to almost one third for the role of Dicky Eklund. He also added to this that it will be very unusual to see his loosing weight like this again though he's won the Oscars for this role.
At the backstage he told everyone he's now become old. Seriously Bale? You're just 37! But he realises where to stop he says there is an extent your body can go up to. And he only wants to stretch to that much and says he will not want to go beyond that as he also has a kid now.
On his loosing weight he covered up with saying that he never ever enrolled himself to an acting school and so he had to compromise and make up for it somewhere and he did it by loosing weight is what he says.
He also informed that he missed Melissa Leo's speech as he was drinking with Ecklund at the lobby. He's currently shooting for his film in China for his movie,Zhang Yimou's Nanjing Heroes and then he says once he completes the movie, he will straight start work on the Batman!
Great going actor and on his question on where he will keep the Oscars, the actor said he will place it wherever his daughter wants him to keep the award.
