The Constituents Required for a Professional Dissertation

It is very important for a student to include all the dissertation constituents in his dissertation. These constituents are different for each institution. Thus, a student should discuss about these components with his advisor before beginning his research. Each constituent has a specifc purpose and it intends to provide a particular kind of information. Hence, no part can be skipped. The most important part is the beginning. The introduction provides brief content related to the topic. In addition to that, it mentions all the key factors which have to be explained in the other sections. The introduction should be very clear and to the point.

The next part is the literature review. This part comes after the introduction. The literature review expands the points which have been mentioned in the introduction. Apart from that, it also highlights the important research areas of the dissertation. It identifies the areas which would form important parts of the research. The literature review and the introduction are two of the important dissertation constituents.

Once you have identified the area of research, you need to explain the information collection procedures. For instance, if your research is related to banking services and you have attained the opinion of people through questionnaires, you can mention this point. The jury members are interested in knowing the method of data collection. These procedures are explained in the methodology section.

Everything which has a beginning has an ending as well. The conclusion of the dissertation is as important as all the other parts. Most students end some points abruptly or ignore some of the points completely. This is a big blunder and it can result in the rejection of your dissertation. The conclusion should be specific like the introduction. The student should avoid any kind of unnecessary explanation while writing the conclusion. Irrespective of how strong the research topic is, the student should ensure that all the dissertation constituents are included in his dissertation in the right order.
